The Piikkisika Tube Type tire is a modern winter mountain bike tire that offers groundbreaking performance.
The tire pattern is specially designed for mountain bike tires, and the studs are arranged so that the maximum number of spikes touches the ground at every moment. This ensures consistent grip across different parts of the tire.
The Piikkisika tire frame, designed specifically for winter conditions from a special rubber compound, effectively protects against punctures and adapts to freezing temperatures.
The winter-appropriate tread, combined with aluminum crown-tipped hard metal studs (up to 408 pcs!), ensures the best grip on the market. The number of studs can be up to 408.
The stud sockets are molded into the tread pattern during the casting phase, setting this tire apart from competitors: this ensures the stud sockets are precisely shaped, and the stud does not come loose during use.
The tire edge cable is made of durable triple-wrapped steel.
